Stop Being Negative!

One of the most destructive things people can do is constantly thinking negatively.

Not all people who are shy are negative, but those who are negative are sure difficult people when they get older.

Try and catch yourself the next time you open your mouth to see if what you're saying is negative or positive. Is what ever you're saying a negative comment or a positive comment?
"I hate it when..."
"I hate this because..."
"I hate those kind of..."
"I hate...I hate...I hate..."
If you catch yourself doing that regularly, even occasionally, try to flip it around and find something positive about what the subject of your last (almost) comment was or would have been.
"I love it when I'm tested because I know I'm only getting better."
"I love this because even though we came all this way and it's closed, at least we got to get out of the house and cruise around."
Changing the way we think is not easy and it takes a lot of time to shift our thinking. But, it's most certainly worth it because we become more tolerable to be around and even a pleasure to be around because we're positive.

Virtually everyone prefers to be around positive people than negative people. Negative people suck the life out of those around them and positive people energize people.

A positive comment is hundreds of times more powerful than a negative comment.

A positive comment builds and encourages.

A negative comment tears down and discourages.

Just sayin.
